Job summary

Toyota Motor North America in Georgetown, KY is seeking a qualified Engineer for the Plant Engineering Advanced Planning team. You will work with customers to understand project scope, ensure funding and budgeting, and coordinate with Accounting to ensure data flow.

The role requires a BS in engineering or accounting, proficiency with CAD (Autodesk), and experience with capital budgeting. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or similar.
• Intermediate computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Copilot.
• CAD proficiency, preferably Autodesk.

Responsibilities

• Apply plant planning, project management, construction, and design to align estimates with budget.
• Assess capital budgeting and classify expenses as capital or operating.
• Improve department budgeting and tracking tools to aid decision making.
• Read, update, and manage construction drawings in AutoCAD/Autodesk.
• Communicate effectively with customers and maintain a customer-first mindset.
