Job summary

Toyota’s Production Engineering department is seeking a motivated Production Engineer to support new model programs and capital projects for assembly, paint, and weld shops. You will analyze layouts, manage equipment impacts, and drive project timelines to deliver safe, high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in CAD tools, and ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant production engineering experience.
  • Willing to work weekends, holidays, and shutdowns to support tooling.
  • Team-oriented environment and strong KPI focus.
  • Project experience in new model development and capital equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Support project planning and implementation for new model and capital projects.
  • Lead layout analyses, equipment studies, and ROI-focused planning.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and quality plans for projects.
  • Coordinate with internal/external groups across Toyota networks.
  • Drive technology feasibility, design, procurement, installation, and trials.
