Job summary

Toyota Deutschland GmbH is seeking a skilled Engineer to join the Battery Production Engineering team in Georgetown, KY. The role focuses on capital and operating budget management for battery manufacturing projects and coordinating department training and process documentation.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering (or equivalent) and hands-on budget experience, with ability to collaborate across teams, conduct root cause analyses, and participate in TBP-style problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing capital and/or operating budgets above $250K.
• Experience creating technical documentation and executive-level presentations.
• Ability to communicate complex topics to varied audiences, including leadership.
• TBP or similar methodology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Summarize project costs and justify expenses for CapEx/OpEx budgeting.
• Audit General Ledger accounts and track budget adherence.
• Report monthly spending on key G/L accounts for planning.
• Coordinate training programs (Ariba, SAP, Ringi) and maintain standard processes.
• Lead project reflection meetings and track action items.
