Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is hiring for plant operations roles across our stone processing facilities. You will assist in start-up and shutdown, inspect conveyors and crushers, perform routine maintenance, and help keep the site clean and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred; experience in aggregate plant operation and maintenance a plus.
• Highly dependable and able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience operating mobile equipment (haul truck, skid steer, etc.) and machinery a plus.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of stone processing plants, including start-up, shut-down, and overall plant operation.
• Inspect, monitor, and operate conveyors, screens, and crushers; identify and report operating issues and oversized stone.
• Perform routine maintenance, including minor repairs, adjustments, inspections, and lubrication of plant equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety by performing general cleanup around the plant and equipment areas.
• Complete additional miscellaneous duties as assigned to support plant operations.
