Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in Glen Mills, PA is seeking a Plant Operator to support our stone processing facilities. You will assist in start-up and shutdown, monitor conveyors, screens and crushers, and help report issues.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years in aggregate industry preferred, and a commitment to safety. You may operate mobile equipment and perform routine maintenance, with a focus on quality and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred; experience in aggregate plant operation and maintenance a plus.
• Highly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Prior experience operating mobile equipment (haul truck, skid steer, etc.) and machinery a plus.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of stone processing plants, including start-up, shut-down, and overall plant operation.
• Inspect, monitor, and operate conveyors, screens, and crushers; identify and report operating issues and oversized stone.
• Perform routine maintenance, including minor repairs, adjustments, inspections, and lubrication of plant equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety by performing general cleanup around the plant and equipment areas.
• Complete additional miscellaneous duties as assigned to support plant operations.
