Thalle Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Plant Operator to support soil cement and RCC production on a major heavy civil project in Palm Beach County, FL.

The role involves operating automated batching systems, monitoring production, and coordinating with field crews to ensure timely placement. Candidates should have 2+ years in heavy civil plant environments, a solid understanding of mix designs, and the ability to follow procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating heavy civil construction equipment, concrete plants, aggregate plants, RCC plants, or similar production facilities.
• Experience operating or monitoring automated batching, mixing, conveying, or material-handling equipment preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction materials and production processes.
• Ability to read and follow operating procedures, mix designs, and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor soil cement and/or RCC plant equipment and automated batching systems.
• Monitor plant operations to ensure materials are produced according to mix designs and specs.
• Control and monitor flow of materials through production process.
• Maintain production rates to support field placement and project schedules.
• Perform routine inspections of plant equipment.
• Identify issues and communicate to Plant Manager or maintenance.
• Coordinate with drivers and field crews for material flow.
• Assist with sampling, testing, and production adjustments with QC.
