Crystal Clean LLC is seeking motivated Plant Operators in Plant City, Florida. The role focuses on safe operation of process systems, monitoring instrumentation, and making corrective adjustments to keep variables within target ranges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred.
• Experience in chemical processing environment preferred.
• Ability to monitor and adjust process readings and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working safely in all job aspects and functions.
• Record process field readings and verify control room readings.
• Make process adjustments as directed by supervisor.
• Perform bulk tank transfers as needed.
• Update logs with field activities and deviations.
• Maintain process/safety/equipment reading logs and notes.
• Calculate process yields when necessary.
• Assist with utility operations (boilers/cooling towers).
• Prepare equipment for safe maintenance following Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
• Assist with work permitting and atmospheric testing.
• Complete shift handover communications.
• Maintain housekeeping in own area.
• Develop ways to operate more effectively.
• Adhere to corporate policies and safety regulations.
• Participate in safety meetings.
