Job summary

Crystal Clean is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations, lead a team of operators, and ensure safe, compliant processing. Responsibilities include coordinating workflow, inspecting equipment, and driving continuous improvement with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in chemical/industrial processing, leadership experience, and strong technical knowledge of plant utilities and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in an industrial or process-driven environment.
• Strong mechanical and mathematical reasoning abilities.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment, bulk liquid transfers, boilers, cooling towers, and process utilities.
• High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in MS Office; CMMS/SCADA familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Plant Operators and support staff to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Oversee daily plant operations, including process control, equipment monitoring, and compliance with procedures.
• Ensure inspections are performed and documented; follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Maintain logs, reports, and 5S housekeeping standards across the facility.
