Job summary

Midsouth Aggregates, a CRH company, is seeking a Plant Operator in Monterey, TN to weigh and deliver aggregates for loadout and truck dumping. You will partner with plant crew to keep production efficient while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, operating plant controls, monitoring gauges, and assisting with maintenance and reporting on production and maintenance activities. Driver’s license required; nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and environment.
• Attitude and cooperation: maintain courteous and professional manner with coworkers and the public.
• Good communication and ability to input orders and follow procedures.
• Driver’s license required and ability to work nights and weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant controls to weigh and deliver specified quantities of aggregates for loadout.
• Collaborate with plant crew to maintain production efficiency.
• Perform pre-shift inspections to ensure safe and operational order.
• Observe gauges and machinery to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Assist in maintenance and report on plant production and maintenance.
