Job summary

Harrison Construction Company, a CRH Company, is seeking a Plant Operator to weigh and deliver aggregates for loadout and dumping into trucks. You will partner with the plant crew to keep production running efficiently while following safety and OSHA/MSHA procedures.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, monitoring gauges, maintaining equipment, and inputting orders. A driver’s license is required, and shift work including nights and weekends may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Pre-shift inspection of plant to ensure operational order and safety.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe procedures and environment.
• Answers telephone, radio, inputs orders.
• Observes gauges, dials, and operation of machinery to ensure conformance to processing specifications.
• Assists in maintenance of plant equipment and in compiling reports on production and maintenance.
• End-of-shift inspection of plant and safety items.
• Be courteous and professional with co-workers, customers and the public.
