Job summary

Western Sand & Gravel Company seeks a Plant Production Operator responsible for controlling plant production, maintaining equipment and ensuring safe operation. The role requires adherence to the safety program and reliable attendance.

Qualified candidates have an associates degree in a related field and at least 3 months of heavy equipment experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field.
• 3 months of heavy equipment experience or equivalent.
• Ability to operate loaders and skid-steer.
• Clean driving record with valid license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient plant operation through maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Work at multiple plants as needed based on production and business needs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain logs and ensure timely maintenance.
• Inform next shift operator of plant status.
