Job summary

Scoular is seeking a Maintenance and Operations professional in Idaho to handle the upkeep of facility equipment and machinery, participate in preventative maintenance, and assist in regular maintenance tasks. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to SOPs in a manufacturing environment.

The position requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the stamina to work a 12-hour night shift.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • 12 hour night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Execute tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of facility equipment and machinery.
  • Participate in the execution of the preventative maintenance program, including inspections and observations of equipment, to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
  • Assist in regular maintenance activities to keep equipment in good repair.
  • Ensure the facility operates efficiently and safely by promptly addressing any maintenance issues or equipment malfunction.
  • Adhere to all Federal, Provincial, and Local regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to location inspections to identify and address safety hazards.
  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure the well-being of all employees.
  • Assist in maintaining food quality culture and facility cleanliness according to established standards.
  • Follow documentation practices accurately to support quality assurance efforts.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and participate in training sessions to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Support daily operations by efficiently managing tasks such as receiving and shipping products.
  • Collaborate with team members to establish guidelines for cleaning equipment and monitor performance to optimize efficiency.
  • Assist in minimizing operating expenses while maximizing productivity and efficiency in facility operations.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and participate in training sessions to ensure adherence to quality standards.
