DeKalb County Government is looking for a qualified Water/Wastewater Operator to manage treatment facilities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role includes operating equipment, monitoring processes, collecting samples, and maintaining documentation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of facility operation experience, and valid Georgia driver’s license along with a Class II Water or Wastewater Operator License.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of experience in operation of a water or wastewater treatment facility.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license and a valid State of Georgia Class II Water or Wastewater Operator License.

Mansioni

• Perform laboratory analyses and monitor equipment to maintain proper operation and dosages.
