The position

Looking for an active, exciting career in liquid plant operations processing? Do you want to be a part of an organization that impacts the environment positively? If so, Liquid Environmental Services is looking for a Plant Operator like you! As a Wastewater Plant Operator, your primary responsibility will be to treat wastewater, determine water quality, and release treated water to city publicly owned treatment works.

Description

  • Full-time position with some OT expected
  • Schedule: 2am to 2pm availability required (approx 8 to 10 hours daily within that time frame)
  • Pay: $20 to 22/hr depending on experience. $50k to 60k annually with expected OT

Scope of accountability

  • Responsible for mixing wastewater chemicals and adding them as needed
  • Manage incoming wastewater and treatment of material
  • Sample and check facility discharge for compliance with procedures or regulations
  • Perform cleanup of area as required
  • Check tank levels for necessary space for material processing
  • Follow all safety and compliance rules and regulations
  • Wear and properly use safety equipment at all times
  • Work cooperatively as a team member with other departments
