Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a skilled plant operator to manage compressors, motors, pipelines, and related gas processing equipment. The role focuses on safe, cost-effective operation and adherence to regulatory requirements in a dynamic facility environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring process variables, responding to alarms, and collaborating with control centers to ensure reliable production and equipment performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Must be able to work in a 24/7 operational environment and handle call outs.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license in the state of residency.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain plant equipment and systems.
• Respond to alarms and take corrective actions.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, and flow to meet operating targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards (PSM/SPCC).
• Coordinate with control centers and field teams as needed.
• Perform occasional lab tests and minor repairs.
