Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a shift-based Plant Operator to perform minor operating duties and support electro-static precipitators and fly ash conveyance systems. The role requires an associate degree in electronics or electromechanical and a valid state driver’s license.

You will assist colleagues, perform general cleaning, inspect shipments, and maintain tools and vehicles in a safe, orderly manner while following OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in electronics, electromechanical, or equivalent technical specialty.
• Must hold a valid State Driver's License.
• Ability to read and work from simple blueprints/specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate minor and routine duties, support electro-static precipitators and fly ash conveyance systems.
• Assist workers of equal or higher classification in daily plant operations and maintenance tasks.
• Perform general plant cleaning and inspect shipments and parts; maintain tools and vehicles safely.
• Investigate complaints and adhere to OSHA safety laws and safe practices on shift.
