Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Chemical Operator to operate equipment and perform manual tasks across conversion, URRS, and pelletting sections. You will manage backlogs, assist other operators, and follow all safety and quality procedures in a dynamic production environment.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 0–6 months experience (2+ years preferred), and a wastewater license is a plus. Onsite work with competitive hourly pay and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–6 months of experience required/considered,
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Wastewater License preferred.
• Safety first attitude; ability to perform procedure-based work; mechanical aptitude; problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform manual tasks according to established procedures.
• Move between Chemical Operations to meet production needs and cover workforce shortages.
• Assist other operators as instructed by department Team Manager.
• Troubleshoot problems with experienced operators and follow safety, security, and hygiene procedures.
• Complete training and move product/materials as directed by others.
