Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Operator to support mining and aggregate production. You will operate, monitor, and maintain plant equipment, perform inspections, document reports, and help manage material inventory to ensure quality output.

Position requires mechanical/technical aptitude, MSHA compliance, and strong communication. Outdoor work in all weather with potential overtime and training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months experience in aggregate plant operations preferred.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude for plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, and pumps safely.
• Adjust process settings for optimal material flow and quality.
• Operate skid steers and front-end loaders for load out.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and document daily reports.
• Conduct preventative maintenance such as greasing and belt changes.
