Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Operator to safely operate and monitor crushing, screening and conveying equipment at our Colorado plant. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and daily production reporting to support reliable aggregate output.

The role requires mechanical and technical aptitude, adherence to MSHA safety policies, and effective communication with supervisors. This is a full-time, on-site position with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude for operating plant equipment.
• Knowledge of MSHA safety policies and regulations.
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, and pumps safely and efficiently.
• Adjust settings to optimize material flow and quality per specs.
• Inspect plant and mobile equipment; document daily reports.
• Perform preventive maintenance such as greasing and belt changes.
• Identify malfunctions and safely shut down equipment when needed.
