Job summary

Kinetik in New Mexico seeks a field operations technician to monitor, control and maintain processing plant equipment in a demanding oil and gas environment. You will work 7 on, 7 off with rotating nights and days, and be responsible for data entry and ensuring safe plant operation.

You will document process conditions, coordinate with team, and perform inspections while adhering to safety rules and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ related work experience.
• Strong computer skills including Excel and Word.
• Good communication, planning, and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety environmental rules and programs.
• Monitors and controls processing plant equipment from central control room and plant.
• Enter daily process data on computer and mobile devices.
• Maintain constant communication with colleagues via email, phone, and radios.
• Perform regular inspections to detect malfunctions and ensure safe operation.
• Maintain and adhere to training, policies, and procedures.
• All other duties assigned.
