Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Plant Operator to support the safe, reliable operation of natural gas processing facilities in the Permian area. You will monitor systems, troubleshoot compressors and pumps, and help maintain overall plant performance to meet continuous production demands.

The role is on-site across Midland, Odessa, Mentone, Garden City with a 7-days-on/7-days-off cycle and shifts (Days, Mids, Nights). Training is provided; basic Excel skills are beneficial; prior industry experience is not

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting drawings, diagrams, logs, dials, gauges, charts, procedures, and manuals.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.
• Basic computer skills including Excel are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant equipment including compressors, motors, engines, pumps and cooling systems.
• Monitor and control equipment operating conditions; start and stop equipment as required.
• Assist mechanics and others in performing repairs and maintenance; complete logs and safety/environmental forms.
• Identify and report safety or environmental concerns; drive maintenance activities on company vehicles.
