Job summary

Koch Fertilizer is seeking a Plant Operator to join the Central Plains Nitrogen (CPN) team in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The role supports safety, process optimization, and equipment reliability in a high-hazard manufacturing environment.

You will monitor plant parameters, implement LOTO plans, participate in daily scheduling, and collaborate with process engineers and maintenance teams. A rotating 12-hour shift including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a process or manufacturing plant.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant parameters and identify opportunities for correction and improvement.
• Support permit plans and daily LOTO and scheduling updates.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures and process safety programs.
• Assist with diagnosing equipment and process issues and perform minor maintenance.
• Collaborate with process engineers and maintenance teams to build skills.
