Job summary

Koch Fertilizer, LLC in Wever, IA is seeking a Plant Operator to join our Ammonia, UREA, UAN, Nitric Acid & Utilities Operations teams. You will monitor plant units, safely start/stop equipment, and coordinate with maintenance and lab teams to ensure safe, efficient production across multiple process units.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to walk long distances on concrete and other tough surfaces.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control plant units to ensure optimal performance.
• Safely startup, operate, and shutdown equipment when necessary.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Lab, and service departments for smooth operation.
• Review and update manuals and SOPs to maintain safety and product quality.
• Commit to continuous learning across all process unit areas.
