Job summary

Intrepid Potash is hiring multiple Plant Operators at Carlsbad, NM. Operate and monitor plant equipment to produce quality products safely and efficiently, with attention to detail and problem-solving to make adjustments and fix issues.

Responsibilities include monitoring conveyors, pumps, scrubber, performing pre-shift inspections, maintaining housekeeping, and following safety PPE. The role offers 12-hour rotating shifts, outdoors, with OT through 2026 and growth opportunities via Intrepid’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum one (1) year general labor and/or industrial plant experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the reliability of various industrial plant equipment, including conveyors, pumps, and screens.
• Ensure environmental requirements are met by monitoring dust emissions, scrubber flow and pressure.
• Operate plant equipment such as skid steers, bulldozers, and front end loaders.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and preventative maintenance, reporting safety hazards.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
