Job description

The City of Horseshoe Bay is seeking qualified applicants for the full time position of Water/Wastewater Plant Operator. In accordance with established policies and practices, the operator operates and controls pollution treatment equipment to clean, purify, and neutralize water for human consumption and operates and controls equipment to remove harmful domestic and industrial pollution from wastewater in sewage treatment plants. Under guidance, performs installation, maintenance, and operations of treatment plants and pumping.

Requirements – Certificates/Licensures:

• Obtain a TCEQ D Water Operator Certification and a D Wastewater Operator Certification within 12 months
