The City of Horseshoe Bay is seeking a Field Operator who may qualify as Field Operator II or III. The role covers maintenance of water and wastewater systems, meter reading, and routine collection system work.
Training may lead to a CDL with Tanker Endorsement. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver\'s license, with certification goals such as a TCEQ Water D Operator and Collection I within 12 months of start date.
This position is posted as a Field Operator. However, individual qualifications may allow for Field Operator II or III.
Field Operator II: $23.10 - $28.87
Field Operator III: $26.13 - $32.67

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is exposed more than one third of the time to conditions such moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals, biohazards, and outside weather conditions. The employee may also be exposed to high, precarious places, and vibration. The employee may also be exposed to risk of electrical shock, wet and slippery conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. This position may be called out 24 hours a day or rotate being on call, including weekends and holidays.
This position is a safety-sensitive position.
