Job summary

The Dolomite Group, a CRH company, is seeking a Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient operation of plant equipment to support production goals. You will monitor, inspect, perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and provide general plant support while upholding a strong safety culture.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED; technical training or industry certifications are a plus. Valid license and ability to operate heavy equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training, trade school education, or industry certifications are a plus.
• Experience in aggregate, asphalt, ready-mix, manufacturing, industrial, or related operations preferred.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Ability to safely perform welding and cutting using oxygen-acetylene equipment.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment, including front-end loaders and skid steer loaders.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, and equipment troubleshooting skills; knowledge of industrial pumps, motors, conveyors, and related equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and use Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and elevated structures and work in environments with noise, dust, vibration, moving equipment, and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Job Summary

Compensation

• $30.20-$32.20 per hour (per Union contract)
