Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. seeks a Plant Operator for the Hickman Quarry in Bon Aqua, TN. The role emphasizes safety and precision in operating plant equipment to move materials and regulate flow through conveyors and storage bins.

The position is full-time, day shift with occasional weekend work, and wages start at $25.00 per hour. Candidates should have experience in aggregate or construction environments and be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of the concrete, cement, or construction industry is preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
• Must have some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Promote Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Rogers Group standards.
• Plant Operation. Operate plant equipment to regulate flow of materials to and from conveyors, chutes, pumps, and storage bins. Control stockpile inventory of materials.
• Inspect Equipment, Structures, and Material. Perform daily inspections and maintenance of the plant equipment and document items in need of repair or service.
• Monitor Processes and Materials. Monitor and review plant equipment systems to ensure continuous flow of materials and maintain certified products. Remove clogged materials when applicable.
• Document and Record Information. Assist plant management with record keeping and daily production schedules for submitting reports on production and maintenance.
• Repair and Maintain Plant Equipment. Assist with maintenance activities, including greasing, lubricating, and other minor repairs throughout the plant when necessary.
• Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

Rogers Group is seeking candidates to fill a position as a PLANT OPERATOR for the for the Hickman Quarry, located in Bon Aqua , TN . The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience with operating plant equipment and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
