Job summary

Grundfos in Houston is seeking a Plant Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth plant operations and engaging visitor experiences. You will coordinate admin, operational tasks, and tours, acting as a liaison among leadership, employees, and guests.

The role emphasizes safety, PPE, and continuous improvement, with a focus on data-driven reports and timely communication. A related degree and 2+ years of manufacturing-related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, administrative coordination, customer service, or visitor relations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated public speaking or group presentation ability.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Communications, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily plant operations through scheduling, communication, administrative support, and tracking operational reports and metrics.
• Plan and conduct professional plant tours for customers, community groups, new hires, vendors, and executive visitors while ensuring safety and PPE compliance.
• Prepare tour itineraries, visitor materials, and presentations for plant leadership that communicate manufacturing processes, safety practices, and company values.
• Support leadership with meeting coordination, action item tracking, and continuous improvement programs that ensure operational excellence.
• Manage visitor registration, security protocols, hospitality arrangements, and site access procedures.
• Assist with budget tracking, purchasing requests, invoice processing, and preparation of reports and presentations for plant leadership.
