Job summary

Opti Staffing Group is seeking a General Plant Operations Technician in Portland, OR. You will perform general labor tasks in the cleaning plant and at customer job sites, operate equipment, and maintain safety and efficiency.

The role offers full-time hours, a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and competitive hourly pay of $21–$22. You will receive hands-on training and opportunities for growth within a well-established local company.

Qualifications

• Clear driving record and valid license.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage time effectively and stay organized.
• Capable of safely lifting and moving heavy materials.
• Comfortable working both indoors and at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks in the cleaning plant and at customer job sites.
• Clean loose rugs, carpeting, and furniture using professional equipment and cleaning products.
• Safely roll, lift, carry, and transport rugs and furniture.
• Drive company vehicles to customer locations while following all safety and driving policies.
• Operate rug lifting equipment safely in the drying room.
• Vacuum, brush, and rake rugs throughout the cleaning process.
• Utilize carpet and rug cleaning chemicals according to written and verbal instructions.
• Assist with carpet pad cutting.
• Maintain equipment in clean, safe working condition.
• Keep the plant, vehicles, and work areas clean and organized.
• Deliver outstanding customer service during every client interaction.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
