Job summary

Opti Staffing in Portland, OR is seeking a General Plant Operations Technician for a full-time, Monday–Friday role from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with pay at $21–$22 per hour. You will perform general labor at the plant and at customer sites, cleaning rugs and furniture with professional equipment and cleaning products.

You will drive company vehicles, operate rug lifting equipment, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have clean driving record.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Organized and efficient with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks in the cleaning plant and at customer sites.
• Clean rugs, carpeting, upholstery, and furniture using professional equipment and products.
• Safely roll, lift, and transport rugs and furniture.
• Drive company vehicles to customer locations and follow safety rules.
• Operate rug lifting equipment in the drying room.
• Vacuum, brush, and rake rugs during cleaning process.
• Follow instructions for cleaning chemicals and procedures.
• Assist with carpet pad cutting and maintain equipment and work areas.
