Job summary

Opti Staffing is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Technician in Tigard, OR, offering a $23/hr pay and a Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm schedule. You will receive and store materials, prepare and deliver products, and maintain cleanliness across the warehouse and showroom.

Responsibilities include inventory checks, assisting sales staff, and providing strong customer service while ensuring accurate, timely job completion.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store materials in the warehouse.
• Prepare and deliver products, including rugs and carpets.
• Maintain building and property cleanliness.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all functions.
• Complete written work orders (padding/carpeting).
• Receive and inspect incoming merchandise.
• Operate a forklift.
• Assist salespeople with showing rugs in showroom and homes.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Load carpet and pad for installers.
• Maintain showroom, warehouse, and restroom cleanliness.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and preventive tasks.
• Conduct inventory controls.
• Support Cash & Carry cleaning department.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are a local flooring specialist offering hand- or machine-made rugs, carpeting & cleaning services! Established in 1900, this family-owned business brings the finest collection of carpets/rugs to the area!

What You’ll Do:

• Receive and store materials within the warehouse.
• Prepare and deliver products, including rugs and carpets.
• Maintain building and property cleanliness.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
• Complete written work orders, including cutting padding and carpeting.
• Receive and inspect incoming merchandise.
• Operate a forklift
• Assist salespeople with showing rugs in the showroom and in the home.
• Provide a high level of customer service through direct contact with clients.
• Maintain cleanliness of the exterior of the building, grounds, and vehicles.
• Load carpet and pad for installers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the interior of the building, including the warehouse, showroom, and bathrooms.
• Maintain van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.
• Perform inventory controls.
• Assist with the Cash & Carry cleaning department.
• Other duties as assigned.
