Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks a Plant Operations Technician for the Alberta Operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada. You will monitor production units, adjust controls, and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations while supporting decarbonization efforts under P2Z.

You will learn advanced control systems, prepare equipment for maintenance, and participate in training programs with travel to nearby locations. Strong team skills and safety discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ABSA 4th Class certification in progress or higher preferred.
• Valid Canadian driver’s license required.
• 18 years of age or older and eligible to work in Canada.
• Experience in operations, instrumentation or mechanical fields is valued.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize plant operations and control adjustments.
• Perform field inspections and follow safety protocols.
• Participate in rigorous training programs with potential travel to nearby sites.
• Lead and collaborate in team-based environments and uphold Operating Discipline.
