Dow seeks Facility Operations Technicians for our Alberta Operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada. The role supports hydrocarbon, solution/polyethylene, gas phase polyethylene, and power & utilities with emphasis on safety and environmental compliance.

You will monitor and adjust plant systems, participate in training for ABSA certifications, and work in rotating 12-hour shifts with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with commitment to ABSA Class 4 or higher certifications.
• Eligible to work legally in Canada; no visa sponsorship provided.
• Proficient with basic MS Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Optimize plant performance by monitoring and troubleshooting operations across hydrocarbon and polyethylene units.
• Provide maintenance support and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to Life Critical Standards and safety policies; participate in drills and PPE use.
• Collaborate in small teams (4–10+ operators) to meet plant goals.
• Engage in Dow training programs to earn ABSA certifications.
