Job summary

Entergy Mississippi, LLC seeks a Supervisory Plant professional responsible for managing direct reports and guiding daily plant operations to meet load dispatch requirements. You will oversee safe, reliable boiler and turbine operation and enforce startup/shutdown procedures in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of Plant Operations/Power Boiler Experience with supervisory leadership.
• 8-10 years of Plant Operations/Power Boiler Experience, 3-5 years as a control board operator; supercritical experience for supercritical units.

Responsibilities

• Performs Human Resource Management of direct reports, including performance management.
• Aligns employee actions with corporate objectives to promote learning and development.
• Provides direct management to Entergy Safety Process and ensures compliance with safety standards.
• Monitors boilers, turbine/generators, and auxiliary equipment for safe operation.
• Supports Plant Operations Excellence and related Entergy initiatives, including compliance and process improvements.
• Assumes a project management role in designated situations.
