Job summary

CHEP seeks a Plant Operations Supervisor for the Jacksonville, FL facility. This role will lead production teams on 1st shift, drive safety improvements, and optimize costs and yield in a large manufacturing/warehousing operation.

You will work with the Plant Manager on end-to-end plant performance, ensure compliance with CHEP procedures, and mentor staff to meet productivity and quality goals while delivering superior customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations/Supply Chain or related field.
• Six Sigma/Lean certification desirable.
• Experience as a plant supervisor in manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Familiarity with private fleet management/transportation is helpful.
• Strong customer focus and people-management capability.
• Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees and oversee scheduling based on raw and finished goods availability.
• Lead safety initiatives and promote a Zero Harm culture on shift.
• Coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-control initiatives across the plant.
• Ensure SOPs compliance and support plant profitability and customer satisfaction.
