Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Operations/Supply Chain or related field.
• Six Sigma/Lean certification desirable.
• Prior plant supervisory experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Familiarity with private fleet management/transportation is helpful.
• Strong customer focus and people management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership by mentoring, coaching, and guiding employees.
• Lead and enhance safety performance on shift, promoting a proactive safety culture.
• Manage shift maintenance activities and resolve equipment breakdowns with maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement on shift to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor and manage plant costs and yield with the Plant Manager and contribute to plant objectives.
• Address performance and attendance matters with HR.
• Ensure compliance with CHEP procedures and work instructions.
• Supervise production employees and oversee production and shipping schedules.
