Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school in a mechanical field preferred.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff in healthcare or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of NFPA, OSHA and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring quality and training.
• Oversees preventive maintenance for boilers, chillers and critical plant equipment.
• Monitors the Energy Management System for optimal performance.
• Coordinates inspection, testing and repair of life safety systems.
• Maintains equipment logs, work orders and regulatory documentation.
• Assists in budgets, capital projects and resource allocation.
• Provides technical guidance on mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ensures compliance with NFPA, OSHA and other standards.
• Participates in emergency response planning and drills.
• Collaborates with other departments to meet facility needs.
