Job summary

Materion Corporation is seeking a dependable Laborer to support daily plant operations and shipping/receiving. You will offload hazardous materials, prepare shipments, and assist in tailings pond operations while maintaining safety and teamwork.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment with strong communication and basic computer skills. MSHA certification and forklift experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow safety rules.
• MSHA certification and mobile equipment experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hazardous chemical offloading from truck and railcar.
• Prepare product shipments by cleaning, labeling, banding and palletizing.
• Support tailings pond operations and general plant housekeeping.
• Operate a forklift in shipping and receiving activities.
• Provide support to plant operations in various areas of the plant.
• Perform confined space work where required.
