Job summary

Materion in Delta, Utah is seeking a Laborer to provide daily support to plant operations and shipping/receiving. You will assist with hazardous chemical offloading, prepare shipments, and maintain housekeeping while ensuring safety rules are followed.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid license, and basic computer skills. MSHA certification and mobile equipment experience are preferred; teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are required.
• English comprehension (speaking, reading and writing) is essential; MSHA certification and mobile equipment experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hazardous chemical offloading from truck and railcar.
• Prepare product shipments by cleaning, labeling, banding and palletizing.
• Support tailings pond operations as needed.
• Perform general plant housekeeping and safety practices.
• Operate a forklift in shipping/receiving activities.
• Provide support to plant operations across various areas and perform confined space work as required.
