Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• 3+ years in project/construction management or emergency management in an acute care hospital with regulatory compliance experience.
• CHFM certification within 3 years; CHEP within 1 year.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to read Life Safety Plans and schematics; knowledge of building maintenance and applicable codes (NFPA, TJC).
• Experience with Hazard Vulnerability Assessments and Emergency Response Exercises.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate construction and facility-related projects.
• Develop and implement emergency and continuity plans, policies, and protocols.
• Design, develop, administer and provide training and exercises for all campuses.
• Lead and coordinate with staff, contractors and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Serve as Hazardous Material Coordinator.
