Job summary

Altium Packaging offers an Operations Trainee position as part of the Production Management Development Program in Allentown, PA. You will rotate through production, quality, maintenance, and safety to build broad plant operations knowledge and leadership capabilities.

The role emphasizes analyzing performance data, recommending improvements, and contributing to cost, quality, and safety goals while developing project ownership skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred (engineering, manufacturing, business, or related field).
• 2+ years in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Effective communication, including presenting insights to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured rotational program across production, quality, maintenance and safety.
• Lead projects and process improvements with defined objectives and measurable outcomes.
• Analyze KPIs, production reports and SPC data to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations to plant leadership.
• Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
