Job summary

LyondellBasell Industries is seeking an Operations Manager at the Jackson, TN site. You will lead safety, quality, and production initiatives, directing a team of supervisors and logistics staff to meet performance targets and cost objectives.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage maintenance scheduling, and mentor leaders across shifts while upholding the company’s safety culture and process standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Polymer Science, or Business Management is preferred.
• Five years of manufacturing experience with supervisory or management roles is expected.
• Experience in thermoplastic compounding and extrusion would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and achieve safety, quality, and production goals at the Jackson site.
• Coordinate equipment and manpower with timely scheduling of maintenance and process improvements.
• Oversee logistics resources and manage budgets, ensuring cost effectiveness and inventory accuracy.
• Provide leadership development for Supervisors and Logistics personnel across shifts.
