Job summary

BlueScope North America is seeking a Manufacturing Process Manager I in Jackson, TN to lead plant manufacturing functions with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and cost reduction. You will supervise production staff and coach a results-driven team to achieve KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing environments.
• Experience in leadership roles managing production teams.
• Strong emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage Compass shipping, scheduling, and delivery.
• Report on weekly forecast tons and hours.
• Communicate quality changes, inspections, drawings, root cause and corrective action.
• Understand tolerances and fabrication requirements.
• Create process goals and monitor efficiency.
• Administer inventory control.
• Mentor new hires and employee department transfers.
• Ensure all inspections are complete.
• Maintain employee work schedules in payroll system.
