Job summary

Vestis, a leading provider of uniforms and workplace solutions, seeks an experienced Plant Operations Manager in Columbus, OH to oversee daily production activities, ensure safety, quality, and cost efficiency, and coordinate maintenance and environmental compliance.

You will lead a production team, develop processes with Lean/Six Sigma practices, and collaborate with Market Center management to meet output goals while maintaining strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Four-year post-secondary education in industrial/ mechanical engineering, technology, business or related field.
• 4–6 years’ experience in a corporate production environment with management experience.
• Proven ability to build effective professional relationships cross-departmentally within a market center and operations support.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production plant operation activities, ensuring safe, timely, cost-effective, and efficient processing.
• Manage maintenance team and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective review of equipment, energy, and wastewater processing.
• Work with market center management to identify and implement systems and methods to improve safety and operating efficiency within budget constraints.
