Job summary

HotRun Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead U.S. plant operations, driving safety, quality, service, productivity and financial performance in Mead, WV.

You will oversee production, staffing, maintenance and planning, while partnering with leadership to improve teamwork and overall performance. The role requires hands-on leadership with strong communication, a background in plastics manufacturing (injection/blow molding), and experience with Lean and problem-solving methods.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in a plastics manufacturing environment (injection/blow molding).
• Strong background in operations, process improvement and people development.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen and continuous-improvement practices.
• Hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Experience collaborating with customers, auditors, vendors and employees at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, staffing, quality, maintenance, safety and planning.
• Collaborate with plant leadership to improve teamwork and performance.
• Lead Lean and problem-solving initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Coach and develop plant leadership and high-potential employees.
• Strengthen customer relationships and support supply-chain initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S requirements and audits.
• Support quality systems and required certifications.
• Oversee training processes in partnership with Human Resources.
• Ensure SAP transactions and operational controls are accurate.
• Negotiate with vendors to improve pricing, terms and service.
• Support HACCP and food-safety programs.
• Lead monthly operations meetings and track key priorities.
