Job summary

Vistra is seeking an experienced Plant Operations leader based at a Texas coal-fired power plant. You will oversee one or more sites within the regional fleet, directing safety, regulatory compliance, and technical support while guiding long-range planning and capital/resource initiatives.

The role requires substantial supervisory experience and strong focus on safety, environmental standards, and community relations as the site progresses with maintenance and demolition projects.

Qualifications

• Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to some of the skills listed.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent
• 7 years supervisory/management experience, or at least 10 years related supervisory management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for a plant within the regional fleet.
• Manage safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Provide operation, maintenance, engineering support and long-range planning.
• Lead staffing, labor relations, and communication with the community on site.
