Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Terminal Attendant to perform maintenance, equipment operation, groundskeeping, and housekeeping across rail sites and facilities. The role supports plant operations, ensures safety, and collaborates with teams to maintain quality and production outputs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of general labor experience, and strong mechanical aptitude with tools. A valid driver’s license is required, and safety compliance is a priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of general labor experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of company processes and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Able to prioritize work.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rail site, buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Operate plant equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Inspect plant equipment daily and report deficiencies.
• Provide safety, environmental and compliance adherence.
• Assist with major plant repairs and coordinate work.
• Guide less experienced laborers on complex tasks.
• Climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, work in dusty environments.
• Communicate safety policies and ensure PPE usage.
• Report spills or mechanical failures to site management.
