Job summary

Heritage FS is seeking a Plant Operations Assistant to support daily plant activities at our Goodland, IN location. You will help maintain a clean, safe facility, operate material handling equipment, and assist with yard duties under the Location Manager's direction.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong teamwork and safety focus, and the ability to work extended hours or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to operate basic maintenance equipment preferred.
• Demonstrated teamwork and a safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform general plant operations and maintenance tasks.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized plant environment.
• Support with loading, unloading, and staging as needed.
• Follow safety policies and report issues to Location Manager.
• Assist with yard duties and basic inspections of equipment.
