Job summary

Heritage FS, Inc. is seeking an Agronomy Operator in Goodland, IN. The role delivers products, applies fertilizers and crop protection products, inspects fields, and maintains equipment under the direction of the Location Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, blending products, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. A high school diploma and driver’s license are required, with CDL-A preferred; pesticide/fertilizer licenses may be needed depending on location.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of related work experience.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record; CDL-A preferred.
• Must hold or be able to obtain pesticide or fertilizer licenses or certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Delivers products to customers and coordinates deliveries for satisfaction and sales.
• Operates and maintains agronomy equipment and applies crop inputs per guidelines.
• Blends products, manages blending/storage equipment, and ensures proper load distribution.
• Keeps inventory records and processes invoices/delivery tickets daily.
• Schedules applications with customers and team members; follows maps for precise placement.
• Adheres to safety protocols, PPE use, and DOT regulations; conducts safety checks.
